What we collect
What you tell us. If you fill in the enquiry form, we receive what you type: your first name, last name, email address and your message. Nothing on this site is compulsory — if you don't fill in the form, you don't send us any of that.
How you use the site. This site uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which sections they read. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and receives your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you view and how long you spend on them. We use this only in aggregate — to know whether the site is doing its job. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not combine it with anything you send through the form.
What you tell the chat assistant. This site has a chat window, and the assistant answering you is an AI rather than a person. Whatever you type into it — including your name, phone number, email address, business name and location if you choose to give them — is sent to OpenAI, which generates the replies, and is emailed to us so we can call you back. OpenAI processes the conversation on our behalf and does not use it to train its models. Do not type anything into the chat you would not put in an email to us; if you would rather not use it at all, the phone number and email address on every page reach the same person.
Two other services your browser contacts. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, and it is served through Cloudflare. Both receive your IP address as an ordinary part of delivering those files to you. We don't receive anything from either and neither is used to identify you.
If you would rather not be measured. Google Analytics can be blocked with any standard browser content blocker, or with Google's own opt-out add-on. Nothing on this site stops working if you do — every page is readable and the enquiry form still submits.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, and to have a sensible conversation about whether we're the right distribution partner for your brand. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not add you to any mailing list you did not ask to be on.
Where it goes
Enquiry form submissions are handled by Netlify Forms, which hosts this site, and are delivered to us by email. Chat conversations go to OpenAI to be answered, and both chats and form submissions are recorded in a Google spreadsheet and inbox we control. Analytics data sits with Google. That is the whole picture — no other company receives your enquiry, and none of it is sold or passed to advertisers.
One automatic email. If you give us an email address, our system sends you an immediate acknowledgement so you know your enquiry arrived. That is a one-off; it is not a mailing list and there is nothing to unsubscribe from. A real reply from us follows separately.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we are in touch, and for up to 24 months after our last exchange, after which they are deleted. Google Analytics data is retained on Google's default schedule.
Your choices
Write to ym@stemzo.in and we will:
- tell you what we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete it, if you would rather we didn't have it
You do not need to give a reason, and asking will not affect any business relationship between us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If we ever start collecting something materially different, we will say so on this page rather than quietly amending it.
